01Using this website

You may read, share and link to this website. You may not copy it wholesale, use it to break any law, try to disrupt it, or probe it for weaknesses without our written permission.

We keep the website accurate and up to date, but it is provided as it is. Prices on it are starting points, not offers.

02Quotes and agreements

Work starts from a written quote that sets out the scope, the price, the dates and what you will receive. A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise. Work outside the quoted scope is quoted separately before we do it.

03Payment

Prices are in US dollars unless the quote says otherwise. Unless agreed in writing, we invoice a deposit before work starts and the balance on delivery, and invoices are due within 14 days. We may pause work while an invoice is overdue.

04Delivery and acceptance

We show you the work as it grows and deliver it as the quote describes. You have 14 days from delivery to tell us about anything that does not match the quote; we fix those points at no charge. After that, the work is accepted, and further changes are new work.

05Who owns the work

When the work is paid in full, you own the code, designs and content we made specifically for you. We keep ownership of the tools, libraries and methods we had before or build for general use, and you receive a permanent licence to use them as part of the delivered work.

Unless you ask us not to, we may name you as a client and show the work in our portfolio.

06Security testing

We test a system only with written permission from its owner, for the scope and dates agreed in writing. You confirm that you own the systems you ask us to test, or have the right to authorise the test.

Testing can disturb a system. We work to avoid it, and we agree times and limits with you first. Our findings are confidential, and we report them only to you.

07Confidentiality

We keep your business information, data and credentials confidential and use them only to do the work. We ask the same of you for our methods and pricing. This holds after the work ends.

08Third-party services

Hosting, app stores, payment providers, messaging platforms and other services used in the work are run by others under their own terms. We choose them with care, but we are not responsible for their availability or their changes.

09Our own products

Our own products, such as Danho, Provisional and Bhaibheri, each have their own terms and privacy notice, shown in the product. The Legal notice explains how responsibility works for apps we publish for clients.

10Liability

Our total liability for any piece of work is limited to the fees you paid for that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost data that could have been backed up. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Work already quoted continues under the terms that applied when you accepted the quote.

12Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts in Harare have jurisdiction.
