Bhaibheri is the Shona Bible and the hymn book your church sings from, in one app and on the web. It carries every chapter of the Bhaibheri Dzvene in Shona with English versions beside it, and the full words of every hymn from six Zimbabwean church hymnals, stanza by stanza, so reading and singing sit in the same place.
Read the Shona text with NIV, NKJV, KJV, AMP, NET or BBE alongside it, two versions side by side, verse for verse. Open the AFM, Methodist, RCZ, UMC, Baptist or SDA hymnal. Search covers verses, hymns, topics and names, and it forgives a misspelt or half-remembered word.
Each day the app opens on where you stopped reading, the verse of the day, a hymn and a topic, and a morning reminder can bring the verse to you. Keep a verse or hymn with a heart, mark it in one of six colours, write a note on it or share it as a picture. Everything you save stays on your own device.

Does the app work without a network?
Yes. The app carries every book, every hymn and seven Bible versions on your phone, and no network is needed for any of it.
Which hymnals are included?
Six: AFM, Methodist, RCZ, UMC Ngoma, Baptist and SDA. Every hymn is printed in full, and the SDA hymnal comes in Shona, English, Ndebele, Tonga and Venda.
Which Bible versions can I read?
The app has the Shona Bhaibheri Dzvene with NIV, NKJV, KJV, AMP, NET and BBE. The website publishes the Shona text and the King James, and the other five English versions are in the app only.
Why does the website show only one sheet for an SDA hymn?
The web shows one sheet per hymn: Shona where a Shona sheet exists, and Venda or Tonga for the numbers that were never printed in Shona. The app carries all five languages and lets you pick the one you sing from.
How do I report a mistake in a hymn?
Write to us and we will act on it. The same applies if you hold rights in a hymn text and would like it removed.
