Invalcre Virtual Labs is a set of Physics, Chemistry and Biology practical simulations for Zimbabwean schools. Students set up the equipment, run the experiment, record what they observe and work through the results on a school computer, the way a practical session asks them to. It complements real lab work rather than replacing it.
Many schools have limited equipment, chemicals and lab time, so a class may see an experiment done once before the exam, or not at all. Virtual Labs lets every learner repeat a procedure as often as they need, try the questions they would not risk at a real bench, and build confidence before the practical session itself.
The school installs the app on its computer lab, and once it is set up no internet connection is needed during lessons. Students do not need accounts. The teacher picks a simulation that matches the lesson, the class runs it, and each student's results can be exported or printed for marking and records.

What computers does it need?
It is designed for typical school computer labs. A dual-core computer with 4 GB of RAM and modern integrated graphics is usually enough, 32-bit setups can be supported where needed, and compatibility is confirmed during the demo.
Do students need accounts?
No. Students need a school computer during the lesson, and a mouse and keyboard are recommended. Teachers can run it as a guided classroom lesson.
Is it aligned to ZIMSEC?
Yes. For schools, ZIMSEC-aligned practical skills come first, alongside Cambridge IGCSE and A Level. Custom labs can be made for a school's specific curriculum needs.
